ASHUTOSH BATTA is the Mentor & Adviser of Bloom Public School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.He started his career with XEROX and forayed into education in 1984.He has over 34 years of experience in various domains in the field of education.
Mr Batta set up the Bloom Public School in the year 1996 and has created an institution of excellence and repute. Bloom Public School is ranked amongst the top ten schools of South West Delhi,& in surveys done by Hindustan Times and Times of India.In his role as a founder of the school, he has worked extensively with the State department of Education, Central Board of Secondary Education and other authorities.
As an educationist, he has expertise in curriculum design, technology in education, assessment and evaluation, professional development for teachers, pedagogies based on the theory of Multiple Intelligence, learning styles, physical education in curriculum and school administration related skills. He has also incorporated in his school programs on life skills, mental health, special education, student exchange (UK, South Africa, France) and various co-curricular activities.
He has successfully adopted best practices in Bloom Public School in administration and management, staff recruitment and training, operational management, integration of multimedia, institutional marketing, compliance of laws pertaining to education, curricular and co-curricular programs for holistic development etc.
Mr. Batta is a keen learner and upgrades his knowledge on latest practices in education. For this, he has attended professional courses at the Harvard Graduation School of Education (USA), The Principal’s& Training Center (London), Indian Institute of Management (Ahmadabad).
He was also the cluster leader in a school program between UK and India under the (United Kingdom India Educational Research Initiative). He also was the president of TEACH, teacher exchange initiative between Australia and India funded by University of Melbourne from 2000 & 2005.
